Each state has its own apprenticeship requirements for permanent makeup technicians; be sure to contact your local board of health to obtain the necessary information. The State of New Jersey requires apprentices to successfully complete 15 procedures, including at least 5 of each of the following:
Eyebrows
Lip Liner/Full lip color
Eyeliner/Eyelash Enhancement
Upon completion of the course you will receive a letter of completion.
